are we blind enough to forget that we're alive?

And the evidence suggests that my heart yearns for you,
but God, I feel as if I'm so far away, as if I'm covered in this sin.
And this is the beauty of your grace: that a life condemned to death
would find a hope of love, a life of freedom,
a God who loves enough to die.

God resurrect these hands.
Resurrect this life,
Resurrect this fire, this heart for you.

Your holiness covers me like warmth,
and your mercy shields the fires I deserve.
Your love sacrifice bought me life,
Your touch is more than I can take.

More than I can take,
more than I can take.
You are more than I can take.

God resurrect these hands.
Resurrect this life.
Resurrect this fire, this heart for you.

God resurrect these hands.
God resurrect these streets.
God resurrect this life, until it's all for you.

Until we're after you.
Until we're after you.
Until we're chasing after you.

God resurrect my heart until I yearn for you,
until I chase after you.

Are we breathing?
Are we just dying, or dying to live?
Are we seeing?
Are we just blind enough to forget that we're alive?
